Wah!? An update I hear you say? Hehehe This was a cover to the 2nd Comicworx Comicjam. I want to do a villains variant as well but we'll see... Anyhoo, stayed up till 2:30am to get this sucker finished for the deadline!! Rollcall from top clockwise: Winged Wonder, Strongrrrl, Equity and Skyfire. (Equity and Strongrrrl designed by yours truly)
Ugh! I just had no frikkin time to do this properly so I have to just give you guys the best I could with the time I had (I had to cut corners with the vehicle modes for now). I will probably colour em up properly later but here goes:
The new Decepticon menace... South Africons! Hijack and Chopshop are two ruthless bots that will do anything to serve their leader Megatron.
Hijack is the Nissan Hardbody and Chopshop is the Venter Trailer. The concept is that they are a duo, similar to Soundwave and his cassette bots. Chopshop is always at Hijack's side.
Ahoy. So last month I resigned from Strika Entertainment and took up a colourist position at Media 24's new Beat Comics. It's going great so far so stay tuned for more info at a later date.
Here is the cover to the Supa Strikas annual cover for 2006. I coloured the characters. Illustrations by Bonisa Bonani. Design work by Jason Lewis. Check out his blog through the links section!
I have to do ol' Man-At-Arms in the style of Uderzo (Asterix) for an art jam. These are some of my practice sketches. I'll post up the final one when Im done.
I had to do 4 comic pages. The theme was first time, first expreience or something like that... Anyhoo, I used the project to whip up a small prologue for a comic idea that I have been sitting on since High School. Maybe I'll continue the story, I mean I want to but it's always up to time etc.
It's the first time in ages that I have done any drawing for myself. Admittedly Im in need of a lot of practice!
My entry for a Superman costume redeisgn competition. Everyone was doing the classic suit so I thought it would be fun to try a more historical look for him.
A set of fan made episodes, which were quite hillarious I might add, eventually the creators decided to burn them onto DVD and I offered to do the Cover. Fun!
